Eighteen years of music
More than three hundred concerts and tours throughout Europe, the United States, South America and China. From 8 to 28 April 2027 the Duo returns to China with its new programme, “From Andalusia to Buenos Aires”.
Biography
Acclaimed for its stage presence, communicative power and virtuosity, SatorDuo has performed concerts and masterclasses in Italy, Europe, China, the United States and South America. The duo has collaborated with Roosevelt University in Chicago, the Embassy of Uruguay to the Holy See, IILAMS in Rome, St Mary-le-Bow and St John’s Waterloo in London, Tsinghua University in Beijing, Fundación Pablo Atchugarry in Montevideo and Fermilab in Chicago.
Robert Hutmacher, Francesco Colasanto, Danilo Guarino, Antonio Rossi, Fernando Sulpizi and Daniele Di Bonaventura have written or dedicated music to the duo, released by Nota Records, Hyperprism, Prendinota, CDG Next and Chiesa Nuova.

Two international careers meet in an original repertoire shaped around the timbral and narrative possibilities of violin and guitar.

A violinist, composer and teacher, he has given more than 1,600 concerts in over twenty countries. A founding member of the Perugia Chamber Orchestra, he has worked with I Solisti di Perugia, the Chicago Sinfonietta and numerous international artists. His original compositions form a central part of SatorDuo’s repertoire.

Trained with Claudio and Leonardo De Angelis and later with Ernesto Cordero, he has studied with Leo Brouwer, Roland Dyens, Eduardo Fernández and other international masters. He has performed throughout Europe, the United States, China, the Caribbean and South America, and his guitar music is published by Guitar City Publications.
